The Halara Review

 Have you been seeing many ads for Halara (https://thehalara.com/) recently, whether on Snapchat or on Instagram due to the wannabe influencer friends you have? These influencers shared a great $42 off promo code, and after seeing the cute athleisure wear, I jumped in and made my purchase.

There’s a serious lack of reviews on the site itself and on trustpilot, sitejabber, BBB, etc., so I’m now writing my own review to help out any future customers. 

Q: Is it legit?

Yes, I received my items, and they are mostly accurate. The fabric feels buttery soft and comfortable. My Cloud 9 High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings in Pearl Pink are more dusty pastel purple than pearl pink. That being said, I don’t dislike this color, so I’ll keep it.

Q: How long does it take for an order to arrive?

I live in New York. I made my purchase the night of November 13th, and the clothes arrived November 28th. As Halara’s website states:

You can track it on Shop, but it's not very clear where it is up until it arrives at the "Port of destination - Arrival" in the United States.

Q: What’s the sizing like? 

Here are the items I bought:

For adidas and Nike leggings and shirts, I am a solid size M. My measurements are 5’6”, bra size 36B, waist 28, and hourglass figure. My dress size is 6/8. My mom is S. She’s 5’2 1/2”, bra size 34B/36A, waist 26/27, and 124 lbs. Her dress size is 4/6.

I would say Halara’s clothes are slim fit. They’re form fitting, especially the Cloud9 Go With The Flow Tank Top. I suppose that's because the tank top can be used for low-impact workouts, as there is a built-in bra (no need for a sports bra). However, my mom said the Long Sleeve Top was too tight for her everywhere and will be returning. On the size tag, it says S/155 cm. In inches, that’s 5’1” which explains why it doesn’t fit her.

My Cloud9 Two Birds Tank Top and Cloud9 High Waisted Seamless 7/8 Leggings size tags, however, said size 8, which explains why they fit.

Strangely, nowhere does it say Halara...

Q: What’s the return policy?

Straight from the Halara website:

For me, this is a bit disappointing as I’ve gotten used to free returns, but I guess with the heavy discount I had received, paying for return shipping is acceptable.

Update 12/6/20: They offer you a 10% discount on your next order, but I wanted to go through with the return. Then they said that they’ll just refund me anyway as a new company. I feel like logistically it’s hard for them to accept and process returns/exchanges, so this notice is to dissuade people from returning/exchanging.
